Meet our speaker

John Walker has been an award-winning professional actor in film, television and theatre from London to Los Angeles for over 40 years. He left Hollywood for reasons of faith, and moved his family to a monastery farm in Northern Vermont. During this time he committed to using the gifts God gave him in theatre to write a one-man show that would speak to a love of Christ and a surrender to God’s will. The Golden Key was the result. This one-man stage play introduces G.K. Chesterton in a supernatural setting as he travels through the afterlife, unpacking the journey of his faith with his ever-present wit and paradoxical wisdom.

John is currently a professor of theatre at Franciscan University of Steubenville, where he lives with his family when he is not touring his one-man show or filming his TV series Chesterton Station on EWTN. John feels overly blessed to perform pieces aimed at bringing audiences to Christ through the life of G.K. Chesterton, and he attributes any and all success of his projects to God.
