Mr. Christopher Curry

Mr. Curry has joined our team in pursuit of Truth, Goodness, and Beauty. Recently graduated from Aquinas College, where he studied Philosophy while minoring in Catholic Studies and Writing, Mr. Curry has come to teach all four years of Philosophy, as well as Debate and Freshman Literature. His studies at Aquinas were focused on the History of Philosophy, Philosophy of Science, and Philosophy of Nature. He wrote his capstone paper on human nature with particular focus on ‘free action’ titled: Freedom from Definition: How the Rational Soul Makes Man Free

His favorite Philosopher is Aristotle, though he very much enjoys reading Plato, St. Thomas Aquinas, Sören Kierkegaard, Edmund Husserl, and John Paul II.

Though he has spent most of his life in Grand Rapids, Mr. Curry grew up right here in Clinton Township and even went to school for a few years at St. Thecla.

In his free time, Mr. Curry enjoys writing, chess, movies, sports, and time with family and friends.
