Mrs. Gayle Hornbacher
Mrs. Hornbacher is excited to be part of the mission field of Catholic education in the classical tradition, which encourages authentic Christ-centered relationships in a digital age of isolation. She has over 12 years of experience teaching in the education field, including Catholic school, homeschool, and public school settings.
She has a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Wayne State University and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Oakland University. She also has additional coursework in theology and philosophy from Sacred Heart Major Seminary and Silver Lake College of the Holy Family. Her particular interests include the intersection of faith and science, boldly engaging the culture, and virtue-based education.
When not in the classroom, she is enjoying deep conversations with her husband Mark, having adventures with their three young children, going for a run, sharing her faith with the local grocery store clerk, trying out a new healthy smoothie recipe, and filling their home with music.
