Chesterton Academy of Detroit Dedication Mass

The Board of Directors is happy to invite you to a special mass that will be offered to beseech Our Lord’s and Our Lady’s grace and blessings on Chesterton Academy of Detroit. During this mass, the Headmaster and Board of Directors will make a public Profession of Faith and take an Oath of Fidelity to the Magisterium of the Catholic Church. This simple pledge is required of all faculty and staff members of all Chesterton Academies. We will also pray that this apostolate will receive the teachers, dedicated families, and benefactors it needs to complete its mission of “raising up a new generation of joyful leaders and saints educated in the classical tradition and truths of the Catholic faith.”

Refreshments will be served after the mass. This will be a great opportunity to meet the Headmaster and members of the Board of Directors of Chesterton Academy of Detroit and ask questions.

The mass will be offered at 11 am on September 7 at a parish church near I-696 and I-75. This location is one of the possible sites the Board is considering for the school. However, since it is premature to make any public announcement about possible locations, we are asking those interested to email chestertondetroit@gmail.com and we will share the location. This will also allow us to get an idea of the numbers of attendees so we can prepare for the reception.
