Pilgrim Image of Our Lady of Guadalupe Comes to Chesterton
Chesterton Academy of Our Lady of Guadalupe was blessed to receive a pilgrim image of Our Lady of Guadalupe, which arrived to our school on March 1st, and was presented in a prominent place in our school to make our Lady visible to the students and faculty throughout the entire school day. Taking advantage of this special privilege, our Headmaster, Mr. Pete Ohotnicky, led the school in a nine-day novena to our Lady of Guadalupe. The entire school gathered together before the beautiful image at the end of each day to pray the novena. The novena finished on Monday, March 15. We are very grateful to Ms. Barb Motala, who delivered the pilgrim image to our school, for thinking of us! Our Lady of Guadalupe… pray for us!
